Do not be embarrassed to take an antidepressant.
The reality of Parkinson’s disease is that it is not just a disease of dopamine. Serotonin and other neurochemicals are affected by Parkinson’s and also in deficiency.
It is an error to assume that depression in Parkinson’s is just a reaction to having the disease. Depressive symptoms are due to biological changes.
