The Living with Parkinson's Tip of the Day: Does your anxiety fluctuate with medication timing

One of the most common Parkinson’s disease symptoms is anxiety.

If you have uncontrolled anxiety we suggest determining whether the anxiety occurs when wearing off yours medications. IF YES, consider changing the medication timing (moving dosages closer together).

If no, or if your anxiety pre-dated your Parkinson’s disease diagnosis it may be important to visit a psychiatrist and to try other options (e.g. SSRI medications, SNRI medications, benzodiazepines, cannabinoids).
